Ideal for two persons, the 600 square-foot Studio combines living room space with an eating area and a kitchen. The bed room, equipped with a queen sized bed, is a separate room. The bathroom has a shower or tub option. Kitchen equipment includes: a dishwasher, a complete compliment of flatware for four and a complete set of cooking utensils. Extensive trim detail and wainscoting throughout.
The building is also equipped with a Sharp flat screen television / DVD player, a contemporary stereo/CD player (bring your CDs and DVDs) and wireless broadband internet access. Heat is provided by a modern Jotul propane fireplace vented heater. Also included are numerous books and maps in a small library.
The Studio is cozy, warm and comfortable. Guests come to cook, to happily chat the evening away or to enjoy a good movies, television, or books.
Most visitors use the studio as a place to rest and relax and as a base for many day trips in Vermont, New York, and Canada. Many enjoy the grounds of the Farm and the nearby trails. During the winter, the studio is often used by cross-country skiers and snowshoers.
From the bedroom window is a view down the spine of the Green Mountains. The studio is surrounded by the classic buildings, ponds, lawns and gardens of Windekind.
The Studio living room is cozy and complete with a Jotel gass fireplace.
